UGLii Find welcomes a variety of brands to market the UGLii Find System as a Global
Partner. UGLii Find also has an affiliate system that allows UGLii Find Partners
to engage affiliate websites within an economy. These arrangements allow business
related websites to become an important part of the UGLii Find System without having
to go through the trouble of becoming an UGLii Find Partner. Affiliate relationships

The UGLii Find System is designed to be a global directory system. UGLii Find is really a series of National UGLii Find Systems that are technically identical and share common business rules. Each national system uses a different interactive map set and legal documents. UGLii Find Partners are appointed as Partners globally and may:
- Market the UGLii Find system in any economy in which an UGLii Find system is in operation,
- Appoint affiliate websites within the economy to market the system on the Partner’s behalf,
- Set the retail prices for UGLii Find services they provide to businesses,
- Use the UGLii Find System to market their own and third party business related services to businesses that have registered in the UGLii Find System through the Partner and Affiliate websites,
- Receive equity in the National Commercial Manager in each economy based on their registrations of business in the UGLii Find System prior to a cut off date specified by UGLii Find. (including registrations through affiliate websites ).
The Agreement Partners Sign
The Agreement between UGLii Find and a Partner is a substantial document. It is primarily designed to protect the System which of course includes all of our Partners. It is also designed to protect the Partner against the UGLii Find System. We have worked hard to make it a very fair agreement. It has been scrutinized by dozens of lawyers representing other Partners. If you would like to read this document you must first sign an UGLii Find confidentiality agreement.
UGLii Find Partner Arrangements
UGLii Find Partners deal with businesses. UGLii Find does not deal directly with businesses. Once a business has registered in the system it may create one or more UGLiis representing its place(s) of business for free. Having registered and created an UGLii the business may elect to buy UGLii Find services. It can only buy those services from the Partner through which it registered in the UGLii Find System. Every month UGLii Find charges Partners a wholesale fee for all services that they have sold to businesses in the Australian economy in the preceding month. A Partner can never be in the “red” with the UGLii Find System – the Partner is paid for UGLii services by businesses before they are billed by UGLii Find.
Partners control the price charged to businesses. UGLii Find sets the wholesale price it charges Partners. As a rule UGLii Find is trying to ensure that Partners secure about 54% of UGLii Find System revenues.
As mentioned, Partners may use the UGLii Find Affiliate system to establish affiliate arrangements with business related websites within an economy. There is no fee for using the Affiliate system. The Affiliate system manages the formation of a contract between Partner and Affiliate and manages billing matters thereafter. In the process of agreeing an Affiliate deal, both parties will be locked into a commission structure that the Partner pays the Affiliate. Commissions are agreed between the Partner and Affiliate – UGLii Find has no say in them at all. UGLii Find System does not limit the number of Affiliates a Partner can have in an economy, however, UGLii Find can stop the creation of new Affiliates across the board where it deems that there are sufficient websites within an economy to allow easy access to the system by all businesses.
A Partner can also appoint itself as multiple Affiliates of its self. That facility is to allow say a bank institution, to use its local branches as local Affiliates – a very smart marketing tool to local businesses.
Partners can also create Agents. UGLii Find Agent facilities can be used for internal purposes such as allowing a call centre operator to market the system and be paid commissions based on success.
Partners can also appoint Agents that have similar powers to Partners including branding powers within an economy. There are special circumstances and rules as to when Agents can be appointed.
UGLii Find System Branding
There are some minor co branding requirements that Partners and Affiliates must comply with. These rules are common in every economy. The System does, however, provide Partners and Affiliates with great branding flexibility in presenting the System as their own system. Affiliates that are focused on a local geographic area can even instruct the System to present local maps when it first presents on a user’s screen.
The Types of Partners UGLii Find Wants Most
The UGLii Find system has been structured for global Partners. Partners that are most attractive to UGLii Find are:
- Brands that are relevant to ethic groups. A Brand that invites ethnic newspapers, radio stations and ethnic chambers of commerce into the system (using the Affiliate system) will develop rapidly in every nation that ethnic group has a presence in.
- Brands that are relevant to industry sectors. These Partners can use the Affiliate system in each country to bring in national industry organisations and other relevant websites into the UGLii Find system.
- Organisations that have the ability to use their own branches or franchisees as affiliates of the system such as banks, finance companies etc..
- Brands that can bring in local media as affiliates such as radio stations, local papers, etc..
The above details are a synopsis of the UGLii Find -
